Henry Chong is the Chief Executive Officer of the Fusang Group.

At Fusang, Henry is responsible for the group’s overall strategic direction & mission. Fusang builds financial infrastructure for Asian institutional investors so that they can access the digital asset economy in a way that is secure, compliant, and convenient.

Fusang is focused on two main areas: Fusang Exchange, which is Asia’s first fully-licensed securities exchange focusing on the public listing and trading of digital assets and securities; and Fusang Vault, our custodian and digital asset servicing platform.

Henry works closely with global institutional investors and financial regulators to bring professionalism and structure to the industry, and is a regular keynote speaker on the subject of digital assets. He is also a member of the University of Oxford’s research group on digital assets law and regulation.

Henry is a Board Director of Portcullis: The Asian Wealth Manager. Portcullis is Asia’s biggest independent group of trust companies, and provides a one-stop shop for corporate, trustee and fund administration services to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, philanthropies, private banks, and investment managers.

At Portcullis, Henry was Founder & CEO of the Investment Office division, which today serves some of the largest families and permanent capital investors in Asia, and holds fund management licences in Hong Kong and Singapore. While there, Henry set up the Income and Global Alpha Funds. The Income Fund today is ranked in the top 1% of all hedge funds globally, continues its perfect streak of over 30 months of flawless performance, having never lost money in any month.

Henry was also a Board Director at Oyster Security: providing a complete spectrum of cybersecurity knowledge and consultancy services to small and medium enterprises in Singapore.

Henry holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics & Economics, and a Master of Arts from the University of Oxford. Henry holds a Masters of Science in Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics & Political Science, where he wrote his thesis on the behaviour of family offices. He also holds a Diploma in Information Technology, that he completed at the age of 12, and a Certificate in Chinese Language & Literature from Peking University.

Henry is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and is a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society. He is a member of the Hong Kong Securities Institute.
