The focus of this Hong Kong immigration conference will be on the investment immigration and wealth management trends of Mainland Chinese HNWIs. China has one the largest growths in HNWI numbers given the growth of their economy, and naturally, there is a significant increase in the number of Chinese nationals who seek to migrate overseas. China is the world’s largest source of high-net-worth immigrants, and far outranks any other country in demand for investment immigration programs.
Chinese nationals made up the largest single applicant demographic among each of the top 10 golden visa programs. The objective of this Hong Kong investment immigration summit is also to educate immigration agents of new programs and the latest changes to existing programs.
The 2020 Hong Kong wealth management conference will bring the new programme agenda. Download the post event report to see the 2019 review.

Why are we renaming the conference to Global Migration & Wealth Mobility
As the Common Reporting Standards (CRS) legislation comes into force in China, the demand for new avenues with regards to overseas asset allocation and residency are the current emerging migration trends, in addition to the more traditional demands for better education, welfare and mobility. Further driven by various stimulus policies overseas and domestic restrictions, Mainland Chinese investors have identified global asset allocation, tax planning and purchase of overseas property as three main opportunities and challenges.
Tapping on the HNWIs’ demand for overseas asset allocation and migration, there is a market shift towards immigration agents offering wealth mobility services and wealth management companies offering immigration services. In keeping with these trends, the Investment Immigration Summit East Asia was then be known as Global Migration and Wealth Mobility East Asia.
